Visa Application Form

You must obtain a visa prior to arrival in Vietnam. Persons attempting to enter Vietnam without a valid visa are generally sent back to their last port of departure by Vietnamese authorities. You should review all visa conditions and carefully note any conditions listed on the immigration stamp which you will receive on arrival.

Your passport must have at least six months remaining validity at the time of arrival in Vietnam. If you lose your passport which contains your visa for Vietnam or the visa document issued by Vietnamese authorities, you will need to obtain an exit visa from a Vietnamese immigration office. Vietnamese authorities will not permit you to depart Vietnam until the exit visa is issued. Processing may take up to 4 working days and a fee is payable.

There are 2 ways of getting visa to Vietnam

1. VISA APPLICATION AT VIETNAM EMBASSY (Applied by you)

Required documentations:

  • You have to submit: Passport of six months’ validity,  visa application forms, and  probably some others required by Vietnamese embassy or consulates in your country.

  • Visa application form

  • 2 to 3 photos of 4*6 cm (or 1.58 * 2.36 inches)

The visa application form may vary from Embassy to Embassy, so you need to take the form from Embassy where you will get the visa or download the form at Vietnam Embassy's website. Submit this form filled with your original passport, 2 or 3 photo, visa fee. If you apply directly to Embassy, your information then be sent to Hanoi for approval, so it take about 4 to 10 days (depend on the country you apply). If you do not want to go to the embassy or consulate offices because of limitation of time, we can help you to apply in Vietnam and once we obtain the approval letter, we will send you the copy and you can pick up visa at the embassy.

2. VISA UPON ARRIVAL (Applied by Travel Agency)

Some foreign tourists still confuse about when they should and could use Visa on Arrival to enter Vietnam. Normally, in case there is no Vietnam Embassy or Consulate in your country, or you would like to make Vietnam part of a multi-destination trip, Visa on Arrival is your best option (provided that you will go by air).

What is a ‘Visa on Arrival ?’: this is probably the easiest way to obtain your visa without having to chase down embassies, consulates and the like prior to your trip. It is a valid alternative when applying for a tourist visa. The Entry Visa will be stamped on your passport as you pass over Vietnam Immigration Checkpoint. With this type of visa, you only can enter the country by air.

The prerequisite is that our company guarantees for you at the Immigration Dept., and accordingly, your visa is automatically sent from the Dept. to your arrival airport’s Immigration controlling network.

Visa Stamping fee (25 USD per passport, paid in cash upon arrival to Vietnam) is the fee that must be paid directly by you to the Immigration at your arrival airport. This fee is charged in order for the Immigration to get your visa itself printed out, glued (or stamped) onto your passport and sealed, after double checking your visa approval letter. The visa is stamped onto your passport only if all the information in your approval letter is exactly as in your passport.
