Tunnels
Our city tour will help you to see the best of Saigon. In the morning we visit the historic Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum, followed by the architectural treats of French colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office. In the afternoon. In the afternoon, we drive to Cu Chi district, 50 km to the Northwest of Saigon City. On arrival watch a video presentation on the construction of the tunnels before making your way into the tunnels. Bay

most

scenic
sights.

and
embark
on a
junk
boat
for
an
exploration
of
the
legendary
Halong
Bay.
This
exciting
cruise
will
provide
us a
fantastic
view
of
the
picturesque
scenery
blending
with
the
sky

some
3,000
limestone
islands

from
the
clear
and
emerald
water.

limestone
karsts

12: Lao
Cai -
Sapa -
Topas
Ecolodge
The train arrives at Lao Cai station approx at 05h30.
Here you will take the Topas Shuttle bus to Sapa, where you
enjoy your breakfast at a local restaurant. At 9h00, you
will commence your journey from Sapa by car to Lao Chai
village, a Black H'mong ethnic minority village. You will
then be able to walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village where
the Giay ethnic minority hill tribe lives. Here you will be
able to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your
guide in a local house. After lunch the walk continues
through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai; a Red Dao ethnic
minority village. After taking a rest near a waterfall to
refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car
is waiting to transfer you to Topas Ecolodge. You check in
to your bungalow and enjoy the view into the valley and
dotted mountain surroundings.

13: Sapa
- Hanoi
At 9h00,
you will
commence
the walk
today by
following
the road
for a
while
before
turning
on a
small
trail
running
downhill
toward a
suspension
bridge
at the
bottom
of the
valley
set over
the long
beautiful
river.
The walk
is
through
the rice
paddy
terraces,
hill
sides
and you
have
many
opportunities
to enjoy
the
magnificent
valley
views
and
encounter
animals
like
water
buffalos,
goats or
mountain
pigs,
which
belong
to the
nearby
Tay and
Red Dao
minorities,
but are
living
their
wide
life. At
noon you
will
cross
the
suspension
bridge
and
enjoy
lunch in
a Tay
minority
stilt
house.
After
lunch,
you will
follow
another
trail
along
the
river
towards
the Ban
Ho
village,
also
inhabited
by Tay
ethnic
minority.
Our car
will
transfer
you back
to the
Sapa
town and
then
board a
night
train
back to
Hanoi

Luang
Prabang
The
train
arrives
in Hanoi
at
06:00.
Come to
nearby

breakfast

restaurant
and then
we will
transfer
you to
the
airport
to catch
a
morning
flight
to Luang
Prabang.
On
arrival
at the
airport,
you will
be met
and
transferred
to your
hotel.
Luang
Prabang
was the
royal
capital
of the
former
Lane
Xang
Kingdom,
with its
gleaming
temple
roofs,
colonial
architecture
and
stunning
mountain
backdrop retains
a unique
charm
rarely
found in
all
Asia. In
the
afternoon,
we visit
the
Arts and
Ethnology
Centre
to learn
about
Laos’
many
ethnic
cultures
before
we head
out of
town to
see the
weaving
villages
of
Ban
Xiengkhong
and
Ban
Xienglek.
We then
return
to the
city for
a visit
to
Wat Mai.
We then
climb up
to the
top of
Mount
Phousi
for an
enjoyable
exploration
of the
sacred,
gilded
stupa as
well as
a
panoramic
view of
the city
at
sunset
and the
Mekong
River.
The tour
ends
after a
visit to
the
famous
Night
Market,
where
you can
find a
lovely
selection
of
handmade
textiles
made by
local
and
hilltribe
people
surrounding
Luang
Prabang.

An
optional
early
start
gives
you the
fantastic
opportunity
to
participate
in the
daily
morning
rituals
of
saffron-clad
monks
collecting
offerings
of Alms
from the
faithful
residents.
This
tradition
is very
unique
in Laos,
being
the only
Buddhist
nation
still
preserving
the
ritual.
Later,
we visit
the
National
Museum at the
former
Royal
Palace.
It
displays
a
collection
of artefacts
reflecting
the
richness
of Lao
culture
dating
from the
days of
the
early
kings
right
through
to the
last
sovereign.
In the
afternoon,
we enjoy
a
short-guided
tour
seeing
the
city’s
oldest
temple
of
impressive
stupa of
Wat
Visoun
and the
shrines
of Wat
Aham and
Wat Mai,
Wat Sene
and the
magnificent
Wat
Xieng
Thong
with its
roofs
sweeping
low to
the
ground,
which
represents
classical
Laotian
architecture.

Luang
Prabang
The day
starts
with a
visit to
the Big
Brother
Mouse
shop to
select
some
books
for the
village
visit.
We then
head
north to
Ban Khia
Luang
village.
We then
have
ample
time to
visit
the
school,
play
with the
kids and
watch
them
enjoy
their
new
books.
We also
take
some
time to
explore
the rest
of the
village,
where
you can
see
weaving
and
visit
the
local
temple.
We stop
for
lunch at
the
village.
After
lunch we
say good
bye to
the
village
and
drive to
Ban
Khoklin,
which
takes us
through
some
beautiful
scenery
of
mountains
and
paddy
fields.
At Ban
Khoklin
we then
board a
private
boat
down the
Nam Ou
river
for 30
minutes
to Pak
Ou
Caves and
continue
down the
Mekong
River
back to Luang

riverside

Northwest
Cambodia,
Siem

tourist

the
temples
of
Angkor.
The most
recognizable
of the
temples,
Angkor
Wat,
literally
Capital
Temple,
built by
King
Suryavarman
II the
early
12th
century.

Its rich
historical
past can
be
traced
to the
Khmer
and
French
influence
evident
in the
ornate
Khmer-style
temples
and the
grand
colonial
buildings
and
villas.
We will
spend
time to
visit
the
National
Museum
and the
Silver
Pagoda
and we
will
take a
sobering
look at
Cambodia's
disturbing
past
with a
visit to
the Tuol
Sleng
Museum,
a
testament
to
Cambodia's
recent
bloody
past
under
the
Khmer
Rouge
regime.
